Introduction to the DIL0806A High Temperature Thermal Expansion Coefficient Tester: This instrument measures the dimensional changes of samples under a specific temperature program and near-zero load, applicable to solids, molten metals, powders, coatings, and various other samples. It is widely used in inorganic ceramics, metal materials, polymer plastics, construction materials, coatings, refractory materials, and composite materials, complying with standards such as ASTM E 831, ASTM D 696, ASTM D 3386, and DIN 51045. The accompanying software provides standard measurement and analysis functions, as well as a Rate Controlled Sintering (RCS) option that dynamically optimizes the heating rate based on the sample's shrinkage rate during sintering. This allows control of the sample's shrinkage at a constant rate to optimize the sintering process. The optimized design of the differential sensor ensures high reproducibility even without additional temperature control equipment. The instrument features a horizontal design, making the furnace easy to operate and sample loading simple. Samples of non-ideal sizes can easily fit into the groove of the tubular sample holder. The thermocouple is placed close to the sample to ensure temperature measurement repeatability. Consumable parts have a 3-month warranty (excluding faults or damage caused by human factors or irresistible natural phenomena). After receiving a repair notice, we will arrive on-site within 48 hours, solve minor issues within 2 hours, and address component damage within seven working days. Technical staff provide free on-site installation, debugging, and training. Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting:

  1. The instrument should be installed on a vibration-free clean cement platform, with a workbench height below 800 mm.
  2. Consider placement of argon cylinders and cooling water during use.
  3. Do not open the furnace immediately after the experiment to prevent damage to the sample holder from sudden cooling; only open when the sample temperature is below 100℃. If already opened, do not reinsert the sample.
  4. Handle samples gently when loading; avoid forcefully pushing the displacement rod to prevent sensor damage. When pushing the furnace, ensure the sample is centered in the heating zone and push slowly to avoid damage.
  5. Replace sealing materials and tighten nuts promptly if gas leakage is detected at the furnace ends.
  6. Troubleshooting electrical control faults: ① If the main power indicator does not light after switching on, check the indicator lamp for poor contact or burnout; if intact, check the fuse and power line connections. ② If voltage and current meters show no indication when manually adjusting the knob to maximum, check the RLS fuse, thyristor, and main circuit connections. ③ If the main circuit output voltage is low and manual adjustment only reaches about half of normal operation, check if only one thyristor is conducting.
