1: Introduction to the DRH300 Thermal Conductivity Tester ISO8301: To meet industrial demands for high-performance insulation material thermal performance measurement systems, our company has launched the new DRH300 series heat flow thermal conductivity testers. This series offers a range of features, setting a new industrial standard for accuracy, speed, ease of operation, and cost-effectiveness. All testing functions, from temperature control to data acquisition and analysis, are automated, resulting in repeatable thermal performance tests. With over twenty years of experience in thermal conductivity instrument design, our engineers have developed this advanced testing instrument. When measuring with the DRH300, it quickly stabilizes and responds rapidly to sample characteristics, thanks to precise flat plate temperature control and dual heat flow sensor configuration. For some materials, thermal resistance values can be accurately obtained within minutes. Depending on measurement requirements, users can stop testing at this point or extend the measurement time. For QC and process control samples, measurement time can be less than 5 minutes. The measurements strictly comply with ASTM C518, ISO 8301, GB/T10294, and GB/T10295 standards. The heat flow method is the standard testing method for insulation materials. The heat flow thermal conductivity tester uses dual heat flow sensors, offering excellent temperature stability and a thermal conductivity range of 0.005 to 0.5 W/(mK). It is applied in building materials, filling materials, powder materials, gypsum board, fiberboard, rubber, and other fields. The DRH300C is a guarded hot plate thermal conductivity tester with a range of 0.007 to 2.0 W/(mK), similar in application to the heat flow method but with a wider temperature range. The guarded heat flow thermal conductivity tester is suitable for measuring solid materials with medium thermal conductivity, ranging from 0.1 to 10 W/(m*K), featuring fast measurement speed and wide sample applicability. It is used in plastics, rubber, sealing materials, ceramics, molten metals, and circuit board materials. Technical parameters: Main features: The DRH300 series thermal conductivity testers are based on the steady-state method and can measure samples sized 30cm x 30cm or 60cm x 60cm, with thickness ranging from a few millimeters to 10 (20) cm. All testing functions are fully automated; motor-controlled flat plate movement; quick measurement setup and operation; samples are clamped between two heat flow sensors for testing, with fixed or adjustable temperature gradients. After a few minutes of temperature and gradient stabilization, the thermal conductivity and thermal resistance of the sample are measured using an embedded controller or an external computer. Automatic plate movement and sample thickness measurement simplify test preparation. All test parameters and calibration data can be stored in the computer, suitable for industrial applications with excellent cost performance.
