The DIL0806 A/B Material Thermal Expansion Coefficient Tester uses computer technology and intelligent PID regulation to measure and control displacement and temperature throughout the experiment. It is mainly used to determine the high-temperature thermal expansion coefficients of carbon fiber and its products, metal alloy materials, glass, ceramics, refractory materials, and other polymer composites.

The DIL0806 A/B Material Thermal Expansion Coefficient Tester adopts computer technology, intelligent PID regulation technology, and modular design to detect and control physical displacement and temperature throughout the experiment process. It can operate offline or online for automatic testing. It runs in a Chinese Windows environment with a user-friendly Chinese interface; offline status is intelligently detected by an embedded system. This instrument is mainly used to measure the high-temperature thermal expansion coefficients of carbon fiber and its products, metal alloy materials, glass, ceramics, refractory materials, and other polymer composites. Technical requirements of the DIL0806 A/B Material Thermal Expansion Coefficient Tester:
- Measurement part: (1) The basic system of the dilatometer is available in vertical and horizontal structures, equipped with an integrated measurement amplifier and inductive displacement sensor alloy measuring head, vacuum sealed structure, constant temperature water bath protecting the measurement base, and adjustable measuring head position; high-precision contact pressure adjustment; measurement range: 5000 μm; resolution: 0.1 μm; measuring head contact pressure: 15 to 45 cN; adjustable sample length range: 25 mm-50 mm; sample size and temperature range depend on the selected sample holder, furnace, and protective tube; diameter 5-10 mm. Sample holders include quartz, corundum (Al2O3), graphite, etc. (2) High-temperature tubular furnace with heater, S-type control thermocouple, and fan; temperature ranges available: -196 ℃ to 200 ℃, -40 to 600 ℃, room temperature to 1000 ℃, room temperature to 1600 ℃, room temperature to 1700 ℃, room temperature to 2000 ℃, and other specifications. (3) The high-temperature tubular electric furnace has a gas flow protective tube with a supporting flange; low temperature includes a liquid nitrogen cooling tank, with the sample and holder inside the tank. The piston push rod drives the center pull of the inductive displacement meter, generating a potential difference amplified into a voltage signal sent to the data acquisition device and processed by a computer. (4) Furnace power supply 2.0 kVA with casing; (5) Holder device sample length 0 to 50 mm, maximum sample diameter 10 mm, including sleeve, push rod, and sample thermocouple (types K, E, R, S, B, tungsten-rhenium, etc. depending on temperature). (6) Gas outlet reverse tube with corrosion-resistant high-quality steel valve and gas plug, including support; (7) Constant temperature circulating water bath with cooling function, cooling power 260 W (at 20 ℃) (heating power 2000 W), temperature stability ± 0.01 K, multifunctional display, with 10-meter pipe and connecting parts, power supply 230 V/50/50 Hz.
- Control, measurement, and data acquisition: Thermal analysis system controller for data acquisition and temperature control, including: Dual analog input, resolution ± 2,000,000 bits; input optically isolated; preamplifier with range switch; temperature programming for different sensor types; linear heating/cooling rate adjustable from 0.01 to 999.99 K/min; isothermal time adjustable from 0 to 99 hours 59 minutes; analog PID temperature controller with STC function, room temperature compensation, and thermocouple; disconnection protection; temperature values and all functions displayed via external computer software; connection via PCI or USB 2.0.
- DIL0806 A/B software system: (1) Thermal analysis software package under MS WINDOWS XP 32-bit environment for data acquisition, storage, and analysis. Features include graphical user interface and integrated detailed help system; (2) PCI board connectable to USB port with 2-meter connecting cable.
- Standard samples and vacuum device: (1) Fused quartz standard sample, d6 × 25 mm, with expansion coefficient table; (2) Vacuum system with two-stage vane rotary pump (4.2 m3/h), ventilation valve, shut-off valve, mechanical pressure gauge, and oil mist separator.
